Born and raised in KC. Age? Let’s just say I’m old enough to drive and not yet retired. Family? Two parents, four sisters and one brother. Lots of extended family. Employed and single. I love my job. Hate being single but them’s the breaks. Served in the military. I miss my comrades in arms. A salute to them.
I have a lot of interests. Music, books, computers(this may give away my age, I remember the first PC), electronics, history, religion, philosophy, just to name a few.
My philosophy in life is to live life to the fullest. I enjoy meeting new people, experience new things, food, cultures. If I were to sum up in a poem my outlook, it would be the “Desiderata”. Google it. These are good words to live by. In adversity, better to crack a smile than to crack up.
I’m a very curious person. Current projects I’m working on. I speak Spanish and am working to be more fluent. I’m studying French. Hey, they’re not that bad. They did give us the French fry and Statue of Liberty. Picking the guitar. I’m converting my VHS tapes and vinyl albums(there’s that age thing again) to DVD and CDs. So many things to do and so little time. Too bad time isn’t like a credit card. I’d like to charge it.
I hope this can be the meeting of the minds. The exchange of ideas and opinions.
