Jerod

Welcome to Vast Reality, my place of technological design and development. My name is Jerod Waldman and I am currently 25 years old.  I work for an International Healthcare IT company called Cerner, with the ultimate goal and vision of making the healthcare industry paperless, errorless, and universal. I work as a Senior System Engineer performing capacity and utilization, reliability, and technology testing of Cerner Millennium on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.  Prior to this, I was upgrading, maintaining, and standarizing client installations of Cerner Millennium while configuring their operating systems and software application to improve compatiblity and performance of thier Healthcare Systems.

I graduated from DeVry University in Kansas City in June of 2007 with a degree in Computer Engineering Technology which is composed of roughly 40% hardware development, 40% software development, and 20% networking. Prior to college I grew up in a small town in Southwest Kansas. I have been working in, out, around the latest technologies for approximately 15 years.

Graphic and web design have been a past time of mine since I took my first design class in high school.  After graduation, I continued doing various free lance graphic work throughout college while teaching myself the latest trends along the way. I continue to gain knowledge through reading, building, and exploring new areas of graphic design, mostly web based. This site was developed to give myself and some personal friends, writers, and artists an area to display our works or anything we find informative / interesting with the rest of the digital world.  Nothing here was put together to change your way of thinking, but yet just to make you think, and hopefully learn while doing so.

Again, welcome to the site, and please stay a while, look around, and enjoy the content. The site will continue to grow and I ask that you spread the word about the site if you find it in the least bit intriguing. Feel free to comment on anything and everything. We appreciate any feedback.
