Wondering how to register? How to post? Jerod and I will be implementing Tutorials as we go along on how to perform some of these actions. They will be posted under the category of “Tutorials” for future reference. You may find the tutorials section at any time by clicking the corresponding button on the top menu bar. First, I will cover registering as a new user. Soon to follow will be a General Posting Walk-Through, and then Advanced Posting Tips.

Registering as a New User
1. VR MAIN MENU – Click “Register”.
2. LOGIN SCREEN – Enter your desired username and e-mail address. Note, Vast Reality does not send spam of any kind.
3. E-MAIL – Open your e-mail and write down the password sent to you.
4. VR MAIN MENU – Click “Log In”.
5. NOTICE – You will receive the message, “You’re using the auto generated password for your account. Would you like to change it to something you’ll remember easier?” Of course, we recommend you do. Simply scroll down to the password field to change it. Then click, “Update Profile” to save.
6. LINK AT TOP – The link at the top of the dashboard which says Vast Reality is a link to the main page. Click it at any time to return to the Vast Reality main page.
7. VR MAIN MENU – While at the main page, click “Site Admin” to return to editing profiles, posting for authors, and editing comments. Here also, you will find all “Pending” comments.
8. NEW USERS POSTING – New users are registered as “Subscriber” level and have only the ability to read posts and comment. To be able to post new topics yourself, you must be an “Author”. Contact myself or Jerod in order to be changed to this status. To post a comment, simply click “Comments” under each post. If this is the first time you comment, the original author must approve the comment within their dashboard. Once this is done once per author, they do not have to approve your further comments.
