I hate how the entire election was centered around the word "change". We don't necessarily need "change" to make things "work" again. "Change" often causes situations and outcomes to start over from the beginning, which is definitely not what this country needs. The utmost last possible thing we need is to start over the economic decline from the beginning on top of how terrible it's current state is. Well put, I would agree with this whole heartedly. But what does that accomplish? I get frustrated when I have to repeat something to get get to my goal. I have to sit still and take stock of what I'm doing wrong or even doing right. Or maybe I need a kick in the pants by my friends. But where ever the kick comes from at least let it come. Growth can be a painful process but with great rewards. A mature person or society takes responsibility for their actions and words. Your assessment of society is right on the mark Charles. A society is only as great as it the people in it. The people need principles to follow. Healthy people build healthy societies. Now I don't necessarily mean physical health only but moral, mental and spiritual health. All are necessary for a vibrant civilization. Charles, your perceptions are light in the darkness. Speak the truth out loud so people can listen and learn.
